Raymond P. Kapusta 1931-2008 DANBY, VT. Raymond P. Kapusta, 77 of Danby, died on Wednesday, August 20 at his home. He was born on July 11, 1931 in Danby, the son of Wladyslaw and Frances Karpinski Kapusta. He attended Danby schools. He retired from Hale Furniture Company in Arlington after over 40 years as a furniture craftsman. He worked at the Danby Recycle Center for the past 15 years, a job he enjoyed very much. He was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Danby. He was a very quiet and peaceful man. He enjoyed his Sunday morning walks on Dorset Mountain. He was Mr. Fix-it to a lot of local folk. He worked on cars, small engines and all kinds of appliances. He enjoyed music and few people knew that he played the piano and accordion. He is survived by a sister, Stella Pearce; a brother, Frank Kapusta and sister-in-law Dorothy Kapusta, all of Danby, as well as many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: The Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy trinity Catholic Church in Danby on Monday, August 25, at 10 a.m. with Reverend Thomas Madison as the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Jerome's Cemetery in East Dorset. In keeping with Raymond's wishes there will be no calling hours. Following the burial, there will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Raymond's life at the Town Hall in Danby 4 Corners. In lieu of flowers contributions in Ray's memory may be made to the Community Cancer Center in Rutland or the Rutland Area Visiting Nurses Association c/o BREWSTER FUNERAL SERVICE , P.O.
