NORTH ADAMS, Mass. --Raymond R. Regnaiere Jr., 51, of 215 East Main St., North Adams, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Warwick, R.I., on April 10, 1956, a son of Raymond Regnaiere and Evelyn (Hudson) DiGiammarco. He attended schools in Rhode Island.

He was employed for many years as a bartender at the Cozy Corner Restaurant in Williamstown, at the Williams Inn and the Pownal, Vt., American Legion Post 90. He loved gardening and golfing and was a member of Waubeeka Golf Links in Williamstown.

He also was the vice president of the Sons of the American Legion in Pownal, Vt.

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn (Hudson) DiGiammarco, of North Adams; father, Raymond Regnaiere and step-mother Midge Regnaiere of Williamstown; his wife, Alica (Patnode) Regnaiere, whom he married March 19, 1998, in Pownal, Vt.; paternal grandmother Jospehine Packer of Williamstown; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Therrien and her husband Richard of North Adams; two grandchildren, Hayden and Owen Therrien of North Adams; two sisters, Diane Harvey of North Kingston, R.I., and Debbie Winsor and her husband Carl of Jamestown, R.I.; one brother, Robert Regnaiere and his wife, Barbara of Pownal, Vt.; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles in Rhode Island and Connecticut.

The funeral services for Raymond R. Regnaiere Jr. wil take place Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, with the Rev. David Anderson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of North Adams, officiating.

Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for the Village Ambulance Service or the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire through the funeral home.
