Raymond "Jack" Wilkins

Obituary Condolences

ARLINGTON -- Funeral services for Raymond “Jack” Wilkins were held Tuesday morning, June 8, at the Federated Church of East Arlington with the Rev. Thomas Truscott, interim pastor, officiating. Organist Douglas Bischoff offered a medley of hymns as the prelude; he accompanied the congregational singing of “Hymn of Promise,” “It Is Well With My Soul,” “In the Garden” and “Amazing Grace” as the hymn of celebration. The congregation also joined in reciting The Lord’s Prayer and Psalm 23. Burial followed in the Wilkins family lot in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Truscott offering the committal prayers. A time of fellowship and refreshment was held in the church’s Bailey Hall hosted by the Sunshine Committee. Serving as bearers were Todd Lane, James Lane and Thomas Lane.

Among the friends, neighbors and relatives attending the calling hours and service were several staff and administration of Monument Elementary School of Bennington where Mr. Wilkins’ daughter, Donna Stone, is a teacher.

Mr. Wilkins, 82, a resident of Carbonti Circle, died June 3 at The Centers For Living and Rehabilitation where he had resided a short time.

Arrangements were under the care of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home Arlington Chapel.
