Obituary Condolences

MANCHESTER CENTER -- Robert A. Borza, a resident of East Manchester Road, Manchester Center, died May 6, 2004 of complications following a head injury suffered in 1997. He was 58.

He attended Kent State University and, unfortunately, witnessed the Kent State tragedy. Thereafter, he worked in British Columbia for the Canadian National Railway.

Bob came to Vermont in 1973 and worked with Peter Mutz, originally at the Skyline Inn on Mt. Equinox and thereafter at Bromley Mountain. He worked at Bromley for more than 25 years in the food service business up to this past April.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly and Shane, one grandchild, and his former wife, Deborah Westcott.

A memorial is planned for him on top of Bromley Mountain next winter.
