Obituary Condolences

NORTH TROY -- Robert M. LaCasse, 50, died Dec. 28, 2004, at his home in North Troy. He was born Sept. 28, 1954, in Colchester, the son of Albert and Theresa (Ducharme) LaCasse.

He was a resident of North Troy for the last several years. Bob was a graduate of Hazen Union High School, class of 1972, and he attended St. Norbert’s Church in Hardwick.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and was currently serving in the Vermont National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, cooking and spending time with his children.

Survivors include his father, Albert of Swanton; a son, Kyle LaCasse of Hardwick; two daughters, Rachel of Northfield and Anna of St. Johnsbury. Also surviving are his brothers, James LaCasse of North Adams, Mass., Anthony LaCasse of Barre, Steven LaCasse of Madisonville, Ky., Thomas LaCasse of Elmore, Andrew LaCasse of Pownal, Brian LaCasse of Hardwick, Kenneth LaCasse of Hardwick, Gregory LaCasse of Greensboro Bend; his sisters, Ann LeFebrve of Duxbury, Carol Lynch of Swanton, Pauline Lang of Washington, Charlene Baron of Highgate and their families.

He also leaves his former wife, Dianne LaCasse of St. Johnsbury. Bobby was predeceased by his mother, Theresa LaCasse, who passed on March 28, 1992.

A funeral Mass for Bobby was celebrated on Dec. 31, 2004, at St. Norbert’s Church in Hardwick.

Bobby will be greatly missed by his in-laws, Marie, Debbie, Patty, Barb, Nancy, Debbie, Darlene, Joann, David, Joe, Bruce B., Bruce L. and his 32 nieces and nephews, as well as three great-nieces and two great-nephews.

He will be fondly remembered by members of his National Guard family and by his exceptional co-workers.
