WOODBRODGE, Va. -- Robert R. Watson, 76, of Woodbridge, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at Woodbine Nursing Center.

He served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division and was part of the honor guard detail at Arlington National Cemetery. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Evelyn, sisters Ora Watson, Nina Morrison and Roberta Morin.

He is survived by his loving wife Rozlyn; children Brenda Kershner, of Melbourne Fla., Cindy Arnold of Herndon, Marlene Paulus of Cleveland, Ohio, Karen Roszel of Sterling, Valerie Fortney of Fredericksburg, Robert Watson of Fredericksburg, Deborah Prutzman of Manassas, Todd Watson of Woodbridge, and Colleen Watson of Woodbridge; sisters, Shirley Brown of Bennington, Vt., Beverly Schultze of Bennington, Vt., Patricia Stuber of Murrels Inlet, S,C., Priscilla Stuber of Stoney Point, N.Y., Sandra Stallmer, North Bennington, VT.; brothers, Lawrence Watson of Monroe, N.Y., and Philip Watson of Shaftsbury, Vt. Robert also has 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends called at Miller Funeral Home 3200 Golansky Blvd on Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, from 6 to 9 p.m. A service was held on Tuesday Oct. 30 at Christ Chapel 13909 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, VA., 22192 at 11 a.m.
