Roger F. Anderson 1943 - 2012 MANCHESTER, VT Roger F. Anderson, 68, a resident of Riverside Heights in Manchester, passed away unexpectedly January 16, 2012 at his home. Roger was born in Milton, Massachusetts on August 13, 1943 the son of Roger B. and Eleanor (Dillon) Anderson. Roger received his education in Milton schools, graduating from Milton High School and then attending Northeastern University. Roger worked as a carpenter for many years and also worked for HI-TECH Plumbing in Dorset. Roger was a licensed ham radio operator, certified diver and licensed airplane pilot, which was evident by his love of flying. He had a great love for the outdoors; which he experienced through biking, camping, skiing and hiking. He thoroughly cherished times spent with his family and friends. Roger was a member of Green Mountain Wireless Society, Divers Alert Network, Manchester Rod & Gun Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Alcoholics Anonymous and the NRA. He was formerly a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Roger is survived by his former wife Evelyn Toch of Holden, Massachusetts, his children; Chip Anderson and his wife Cyndi of Sterling, Massachusetts and Lynn Misiaszek and her husband Larry of West Boylston, Massachusetts and his grandchildren Kayla, Joshua, Dakota, Katy, Zach and Amanda. He was preceded in death by his son Shawn Anderson who died November 3, 1996. A celebration of the life of Roger F. Anderson will be held February 11, 2012 at 11am at the United Church of Dorset, 143 Church St., Dorset, Vermont. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours. Roger will be placed to rest in Massachusetts, next to his son, this will take place at a later date.
