Roger D. Hall 1946 - 2008 BENNINGTON Roger D. Hall, 62, a resident of Bakers Drive Bennington, Vt., died unexpectedly Wednesday Nov. 26, at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. He was born in Bennington, Vt., Jan. 23, 1946. Son of the late Earl Hall and Helen Russell Hall Garvey. He received his education in Pownal. He married the former Caroline Percey at their home on Chapel Road in Bennington on June 6, 1987. Roger was employed as a plumber at Vermont Mechanical in Williston, Vt. Roger helped plumb the Olympic Center in Saranac Lake, N.Y., the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and the Southwestern Vt., Regional Cancer Center. Roger was a handy- man, he enjoyed carpentry and wood carving. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He leaves his wife Caroline Hall of Bennington. His children Roger Weeden of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Daniel Hall, and his wife, Patricia, of Bennington, John Stewart of Bennington, Tom Aiken III of Conroe, Texas and Tonya Aiken of Hinesburg, Vt. Five grandchildren, two brothers Donald and Nancy Tetreault of North Bennington and Richard and Alice Tetreault of Ocala, Fla. A sister in law Zane Tetreault of Seattle, Wash. His aunts and uncle Ruth Horn of Bennington, Edna and Ralph Prouty of Bennington and Rose Austin of Moretown,Vt., several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a very close friend William Brown of Pownal, Vt. He was pre-deceased by two brothers Eddie Tetreault and Ken Tetreault. FUNERAL NOTICE: Friends may call at the MAHAR AND SON FUNERAL HOME on Monday Dec. 1, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. when the family will be in attendance. The funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. If friends desire contributions in memory of Roger D. Hall may be made to either the Second Chance Animal Shelter or Ones Favorite Charity through the office of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201
