Ronald. C. Brahan 1948-2010 Ronald. C. Brahan of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., age 62 passed away at his residence after a long valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Hoosick Falls on July 9th, 1948. He is the son of Mary Casey (Brahan)and the late Charles Edward Brahan & his stepfather, the late James Casey. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife Debbie (Perrier), his daughters Autumn Okerman (Jeff), Amy Brahan, his step son Tom Rondeau (Sara), his three sisters Teresa Lassor (Bruce Stroffoleno), Maureen Wilt, JoAnn Brahan (Neil Cooney), step-sister Mary Jane Wilkie & step brothers Sean Casey, Dennis Casey (Margaret), David Casey (Doris) and 8 grandchildren; Brett, Ryan, Hannah, Jacob, Helen, Tyler, Austin, Angell & several nieces and nephews. Ronnie was employed at Albany Public Market in Troy, N.Y. for 14 years as a meat cutter, then worked at the former Allied-Signal-Fluorglas in HF for several years, drove taxi and bartended at T-Bones. He enjoyed the companionship of his devoted wife Debbie & baby dog "Bandit". He was an avid Yankee Fan & loved betting on the ponies! Ronnie loved shooting darts, ping pong & playing cards but only if he won, & visiting with his faithful long time friends who always found time to stop and have a "toddy" or two. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Memorial Service will be held at The Mahar Funeral Home at 43 Main Street on Wednesday, December 8th at 6 p.m. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Karen McGovern through the funeral home.
