1939-2013 BENNINGTON Ronald B. Brillon, age 73, a resident of Soule St. in Bennington passed away at home on Friday, July 12, 2013 surrounded by his family.

He was born the son of the late James V. and Geneva (Granger) Brillon of North Bennington on August 31, 1939.

Ron was well loved by his customers at B+B Auto Repair in Bennington which he ran for thirty-three years.

Ron enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, taking drives in his Ford Thunderbird, and spending time with his family.

He is predeceased by his brother James V. Brillon, II, his nephew Jimmy V. Brillon III, and his business partner Al Bolio.

He is survived by his wife Betty Brillon whom he married fifty years ago on July 6, 1963 in Queens, NY. He is also survived by his daughters and their spouses, Debra and Dave Waters, Lisa and Charles Dufresne, Susan and Adam Levick and Veronica Cameron, all of Bennington. He leaves three brothers and sisters-in-law; Joseph and Sally Brillon, Gerald and Arlene Brillon, and John Brillon. He leaves fourteen grandchildren and five cherished great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Prayer service will be held on Monday morning, July 15 at 9:15 AM at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. Bennington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church in North Bennington at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow in the family lot in St. John's Cemetery in North Bennington.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon, July 14, from 4-7PM.

The family is extremely grateful for the compassion and care provided by Rebecca Andrews and the VNA and Hospice team.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA and Hospice of SVHC through the Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
