Ronnie G. Sinsabaugh 1946-2011 EAGLE BRIDGE Ronnie G. Sinsabaugh, 65, of Daun Lane, died Thursday evening, December 15th, suddenly at home, of natural causes. Born in Watervliet, September 28, 1946, he was son of the late Alan and Dola Hamilton Sinsabaugh, and had served with the US Navy from 1967-69 as a machinist mate 3rd Class, aboard Destroyer USS Power DD839. For 28 years, Ronnie delivered mail for the US Postal Service, mainly in Mechanicville, but also in Troy. Everyone on Ronnie's route was a friend, as he was one of those guys that you couldn't help but like. Always with a smile and kind word for everyone. He retired with health problems in 2006. Previously, Ronnie had been a mechanic with Ryder Truck Rental in Albany and Saratoga. A former member of the Post 91 American Legion, he enjoyed hunting, flying radio controlled airplanes and helicopters. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Donna McCauliffe Sinsabaugh, daughter Denise Sinsabaugh of Saratoga, sons Ronald (Jodie) Sinsabaugh of Cambridge and David Sinsabaugh of Hoosick Falls, sisters Loleta Johnson of Red Hook, Glenda (Pete) Canavan of Schaghticoke, Mary (John) Starterri of Cambridge and Elsa Perkins of Schenectady, along with nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial with military honors on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
