Obituary Condolences

ARLINGTON -- Funeral services for Rosanne Tynan were held from St. Margaret Mary’s Church in Arlington on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, where the liturgy of Christian death and burial was concelebrated by the Rev. George Dupuis, pastor, and the Rev. Michael A. Demasi. The acolyte was Dalton Duffny.

Organist was Louise Gauthier and soloist was Monica Murray. Hymns offered were “Hosea,” “On Eagles’ Wings,” “The Irish Blessing” and “Here I Am Lord”.

The funeral pall was placed on Miss Tynan’s casket by two grandnieces, Marie Rosa and Jessica Langlois. A wooden cross was placed on the casket by Vera Rosa, a niece. The scriptural readings were offered by Mary M. Henning and James T. Langlois, a niece and nephew. The offertory gifts were presented by Mariko, Kate and Matt Yamasaki and Natalie Langlois. The eulogy was offered by Christopher Langlois, a nephew.

Bearers were Christopher, James, Mark, Tom and Jimmy Langlois and Kim Yamasaki. Honorary bearers from Court St. Rita, Catholic Daughters of America, were Mildred Kaylor, Lillian Chace, Barbara Kelleher, Marge Bradbury, Rose Boudreau, Ruth Cherbonneau and Brenda Coniglio. Honorary bearers from St. Margaret Marys Sodality were Jacqueline LaBatt, Gil Manning, Maria Cavalieri, Lorraine Dillinger, Mathilda Kenny, Theresa Davis, Mary Downey and Gladys Pike.

Burial took place in St. Columban’s Cemetery, Arlington with Father Dupuis offering the committal prayers.

A reception was held at St. Margaret Mary’s parish hall.

Miss Tynan, a resident of Route 7A, Arlington, died April 1, 2005 at her residence.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home.
