Sally A. Pacher

1946-2012 BENNINGTON Sally Ann Pacher, age 66, a resident of Dewey Street passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, October 4th at her home following a long illness. She was surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 17, 1946, in Bennington and was the daughter of the late Jerod "Jay" and Cora DeBell Sanders. She received her education in local schools and is a graduate of Bennington High School, class of 1964.

She married Joseph E. Pacher, Sr. on October 24, 1964. Mr. Pacher predeceased her on February 26, 2000.

Mrs. Pacher had been employed at Energizer for over thirty years before taking an early retirement in 2004. During her retirement, she enjoyed traveling to several casinos in the region and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She made a point to live each day to the fullest, and always had a smile.

Mrs. Pacher is survived by three children: Joseph Pacher, Jr and his wife Rhonda of Rochester, NY, her son Scott Pacher also of Rochester, N.Y. and her daughter Bonnie Green and her husband Brian of North Bennington, Vt. She leaves ten grandchildren;

Jake Greene and Haley Green, both of North Bennington, Meghan Pacher and Meadow Pacher, both of Rochester, N.Y. and Victoria Pacher, Andrew Pacher, Cody Pacher, Kyle Pacher, Cory Pacher, and Kaitlynn Pacher all of Rochester, N.Y. as well as her companion Fred Farnum and her brothers and sisters; Frank Hurley and his wife Dorothy, Jerod Sanders and his wife Pam, Katherine Krawczyk, Viola Burgess, Ruby Kinney and her husband Tom, Nancy Flanders and her husband Daniel, Eva Jones and her husband Harold and her brother-in-law, Robert Gratton. She also has several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pacher is predeceased by one sister, Ruth Gratton, and her brother-in-law Raymond Krawczyk.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, October 6, at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, in Bennington at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning, from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
