Shane Crawford Obituary
Shane Crawford passed away unexpectedly in his home on May 10, 2017, at the age of 55.

Shane was born in Bennington, Vermont on August 30, 1961 to Marian and Walter Crawford. He was raised in East Arlington in a loving family. Growing up, he was a member of the Yankee Doodlers Drum and Bugle Corp, the 4-H, and the Cub Scouts. He also loved music and his drum set, and enjoyed his time in the school band, but had a real talent for cooking and especially baking like his parents before him.

Shane graduated from Arlington Memorial High School in 1979. He entered the United States Air Force later that year, and was trained as a Baker. After his time with the Air Force Shane returned home to Vermont with an honorable discharge. This is where he met and married Michelle Ruth Plant on Dec. 31, 1985. Together Shane and Michelle raised three sons.

Shane is survived by his children: Joshua, his wife Katrina and their daughter Alice; Jonathan and his two daughters Yara and Piper; Andrew and his daughter Quinn; and his beloved cat Rasta. He is also survived by his father, Walter Crawford; his sister Princess Barany and her husband Richard; his half-sister Bonnie Robertson; his half-brother Richard Beayon and his wife Dorothy; his half-sister-in-law Martha Beayon; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother Marian Crawford and his half-brother Larry Beayon.

Shane will be missed by family and many friends. The family would like to thank all those who touched his life in a positive way.
