Sharon L. Bushee 1955-2011 MANCHESTER CENTER, VT Sharon L. Bushee, 56, a resident of Richville Road in Manchester Center, passed away Friday October 7, 2011 at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation. Sharon was born in Granville, New York on February 23, 1955 the daughter of the late Vinton and Mildred (Greene) Perkins. She attended schools in Rupert, Vt., and Salem, N.Y., and graduated from Salem High School. Sharon worked for Friendly's Restaurants for many years before taking over the bookkeeping for the family business (Bushee Trucking) and also operated Bushee Batenkill Valley Farm (petting zoo). She was Director of Religious Education at Christ Our Savior Parish (St. Paul Catholic Church) in Manchester and formerly worked at Burr & Burton in Special Needs. In her earlier years, she taught dance and aerobics and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and also spun wool. She cherished times spent with her family and loved taking care of her children. Sharon is survived by her husband Vincent F. Bushee, Sr. of Manchester Center whom she married March 20, 1982 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manchester, her children; Clint Hazelton and his wife Elisabeth of West Pawlet and Vincent F. Bushee, Jr. and his wife Kimberly also of West Pawlet and Anna-Marie Bushee and her fiance Josh Allison of Weston, her sisters; Sheila Kutchukian and her husband David of East Dorset and Cheryl Lurvey and her husband Bernie of Granville, New York and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial mass of christian death and burial will be celebrated Monday morning October 10, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish (St. Paul Catholic Church) in Manchester. Interment will follow in the family lot in Dellwood Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday afternoon October 9, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Brewster Funeral Service 34 Park Place Manchester Center, Vermont, when the family will be in attendance.
