Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Shirley L. Baker, 51, a resident of Walloomsac Apartments, died unexpectedly Friday, June 10, 2005, at her residence.

Born in Barre on April 9, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Norman Pratt and Mary (Roy) Pratt Angeski. She received her education in the Barre and Bridgeport, Conn. schools. Following high school, Shirley attended community college in Connecticut.

Her home and family, especially caring for her children, was her main interest.

Survivors include two sons and their fiancées, Michael A. Mott and Christa Therrien and Paul J. Baker and Toni Caruso, all of North Adams, Mass.; three grandchildren, Aron and Hannah Baker and Kelsey Mott; a sister, Carol Barder of Orange, Conn.; two brothers, Norman Angeski of Ansonia, Conn. and David Angeski of Bridgeport; grandmother, Gertrude Taylor of Bennington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 2 p.m.

Burial will take place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery.
