1989 - 2014 SHAFTSBURY Sierra Skye Prudhomme, 25, a resident of Shaftsbury, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y., surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1989, the daughter of Rebecca C. (Hamilton) Hewinson and Gary P. Harrington. Sierra received her education in Bennington and was a 2007 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School where she was an honor student and a member of DECA. Sierra was employed at NASTECH in Bennington. She enjoyed the outdoors, riding four wheelers, shooting guns, country music and playing Candy Crush. The love of her life was her children, Skyler and Khloe. She most enjoyed her children. They loved blowing bubbles, going to the park, playing in the sand box and just being together. Survivors include her children, Skyler Alan-James Betit of Shaftsbury and Khloe Grace Rawling of Petersburgh, N.Y.; her mother and step father, Rebecca and Jeffrey Hewinson of Shaftsbury; her father, Gary Harrington; her boyfriend. Alan Rawling of Petersburgh, N.Y.; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Linda Hamilton of Shaftsbury; a brother, Luke Prudhomme of Bennington; a sister, Chelsea Hewinson of Shaftsbury; a step-sister, Amanda Francoeur of Bennington; two very special aunts, Michelle Boardman and Kristy Hamilton, and several cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: Friends may call at the MAHAR AND SON FUNERAL HOME in Bennington on Friday, July 18, from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be no funeral services. If friends desire, contributions in memory of Sierra they may be made to her children through the office of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., Bennington, VT 05201.
