Obituary Condolences

LUDLOW -- Stanley A. Lincoln was called home to Glory, Oct. 2, 2003. He was born May 17, 1930 in Sandgate, son of Harry and Sylvia Jorgensen Lincoln.

Mr. Lincoln enlisted in the Navy for one year in 1947 and was recalled to active duty for two years during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Lincoln married Jean Brophy, Aug. 26, 1950 in East Dorset.

Mr. Lincoln worked for Mack Molding for 45 years, retiring in 1991. He spent most of his retirement years working in his garden and his Christmas Tree Plantation in Sandgate. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.

Mr. Lincoln was a member of Ludlow Baptist Church since moving to Ludlow in 1965. He served many years as a Sunday school teacher, lay speaker and elder. He was also a member of the Gideon’s International for several years.

Survivors besides his wife are a daughter, Vicki and husband, Terry Brown of Oregon; daughter, Jacqueline, and husband, Michael Guica of Cavendish; son, Stephen and his wife, Dawn Lincoln, of Oregon; his mother; a brother Douglas and his wife, Janice Lincoln; a sister, Betty, and husband, Louis Andrews, all of Shushan, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Ludlow Baptist Church on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Adams & Kenney Funeral Homes in Ludlow on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
