Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- A large number of family and friends attended the funeral services for Terry L. Senecal, which were held on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington with the Rev. Louis Guariniello officiating.

Tribute and remembrances were offered by Mrs. Lila Dickinson and Mr. Brian Harrington. Special music for the service included the song “Believe” by Brooks and Dunn.

Interment services followed in the family lot in the Rosewood Cemetery in White Creek, N.Y., where the Rev. Guariniello offered the words of committal. The song “Poppa Was A Rolling Stone” was played at the cemetery. Military honors were offered by members of the Army, members of the New York State Honor Guard. The flag was folded by Spc. Jason Farndell, and Pvt. Derrick Beagle and presented to Sgt. Ryan Comstock, who presented the flag to Sgt. E-4, Robert Mahoney, who presented the flag to Mrs. Claire Senecal.

A time of fellowship followed the interment at the Jermain Community Hall in White Creek.

Pallbearers for the services included Joe Young, Chase Reed, Brett Reed, Jerry Raymond, Brian Harrington, and Billy Lerette.

Terry L. Senecal, 60, a resident of Shaftsbury Hollow Road in White Creek, N.Y., died on Jan. 3, 2007, at the Westchester (N.Y.) Medical Center Burn Unit as a result of burns he sustained during a fire at his residence on Dec. 30, 2006.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
