Terun Sabre Weed

1964-2013 Mr. Terun S. Weed born Terence Paul Foster, 48, partner of William G. Harris II., a resident of Portland Maine died Friday February 8, 2013 at Maine Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Born the second of identical twins, in Bennington June 15, 1964. Terun was the son of Charles Weed whom adopted him in 1984. He was the biological son of Ann (Kenyon) Bentley and Paul Arnold Foster.

Terun is survived by his father Charles Weed biological mother Ann Kenyon Bentley and biological father Paul Arnold Foster. Siblings include Angela Habel, Steven Foster identical twin Thomas Foster Jason Foster and Jammie Hubbard and several nephews, nieces and great nieces. Terun is also survived by his best friend of many years, Sylvia Snyder of San Francisco, CA.

Terun and William exchanged vows in a private ceremony on January 18, 2013 in Portland, ME.

In his earlier years, Terun spent much of his time dancing, being a choreographer and a Communicator. He says "he viewed his life through a kaleidoscopic lens". He worked for Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Florida and in New Jersey. He began performing on stage in 1988, in Burlington, Vermont were he was cast for a lead role in Fiddler on the Roof. In 2001, he started Trenton Silver Linings an innovative non-profit theater dance company targeting intercity youth.

Terun was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, ME, where he took great pride in teaching Sunday School. He loved people, but he especially admired his identical twin and his grandmothers, affectionately called "lil" Gram, Frances Josephine Gordon Kenyon, and "Big" Gram, Marge Barnard Kenyon whom remained a constant inspiration to him throughout his life.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Congregational Church of North Bennington located at 6 Bank Street North Bennington, VT. A Reception will be held immediately following the services.
