Thaddeus Weselak GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. Thaddeus Weselak, 64, husband of Rosalyn Perry Weselak, a former Buffalo Public Schools assistant principal, died at his home on Grand Island on Sunday, July 3.Mr. Weselak was born in Buffalo and graduated from Bishop Turner High School. He received a bachelor's degree in English from John Carroll University and a master's degree in education administration from Buffalo State College. He had a 32-year career in education and last worked at Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed traveling with his family. and was active in St. Stephen Catholic Church. He was a longtime member of its folk group and helped organize its "Hour of Power" music worship and frequently performed at healing services. Survivors include his wife, the former Rosalyn Perry of White Creek, N.Y.; four sons, Timothy, Todd, Vincent, and Andrew; a brother, Daniel; two sisters, Nancy Zais and Elaine Berardi, and nine grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 10 a.m. on July 6, 2011, in St. Stephen Church, Grand Island. A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Weselak will be held in mid-August at the Jermain Methodist Church in White Creek. The exact date will be finalized later.
