Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Theresa A. “Terri” Milliken were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church on Friday, March 25, 2005 where the liturgy of the word was offered by the Rev. Vincent Copploa, c.s.c., assistant pastor.

Pianist was Donald McMahon and soloist was Monica Murray. Hymns offered during the funeral service were “Ave Maria,” “Be Not Afraid,” “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Prayer of St. Francis” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

The casket that draped Terri’s casket during the funeral service was placed by her son, Adam Milliken and her sister, Tina Hill. A wooden cross was than placed on the casket by Terri’s mother, Helen LaRoche.

The scriptural readings were offered by Amanda Anderson and Karen Hendrickson. Acolytes assisting at the service were Leonard Anzivino, Francis Sausville, and James Kemp. Bearers were Anthony Zazzaro Jr., James Milliken, Patrick Anderson and Tony Zazzaro Sr.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral mass.

Burial took place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery with Father Coppola offering the committal prayers.

Terri Milliken, a former resident of Bennington, died March 15, 2005, following a lengthy illness.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
