Obituary Condolences

BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Mrs. Therese Roseanna Pinsonneault were held from Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington on Thursday, June 30, 2005, where the liturgy of Christian death and burial was offered by the Rev. Vincent Coppola, c.s.c., associate pastor.

Organist was Louise Gauthier and soloist was Mildred Pierce. Hymns offered during the funeral service were “Ave Maria,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” and “Here I Am Lord.”

The funeral pall that draped Mrs. Pinsonneault’s casket during the funeral Mass was placed by her sons, Patrick and Michael Pinsonneault and a wooden cross was placed on the casket by a grandson, Todd Pinsonneault. The scriptural readings were offered by Todd and a daughter-in-law, Gail Pinsonneault. The offertory gifts were presented by Robert and Kathy Potvin.

Bearers were Mrs. Pinsonneault’s two sons, Patrick and Michael Pinsonneault; two grandsons, Douglas and Todd Pinsonneault; and Richard Wood, a family friend.

Acolytes serving the mass were John Reed, Leonard Anzivino, Gerald Amadon and Bernard Bourgeois.

A prayer service at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home preceded the funeral Mass.

Burial took place in the family lot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, Mass., with Father Coppola offering the committal prayers.

Mrs. Pinsonneault, widow of Douglas Paul Pinsonneault and a longtime resident of North Adams, died June 27, 2005, at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
