Obituary Condolences

PETERBOROUGH, N.H. -- Timothy David Douglass, 46, of Keenan Drive, died on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at Monadnock Community Hospital.

He was born in Bennington, Vt., on June 16, 1959, the son of Joan (Murphy) and Francis Douglass. Prior to moving to Peterborough in 1996, he lived in Vista, Calif., for eight years, and Bennington.

A 1977 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, he also served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Economy Plumbing in Keene prior to being employed by Granite State Plumbing for the past 10 years.

During his recreational time, he enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, kayaking, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Family includes his wife of 16 years, Wendy S. Douglass of Peterborough; two daughters, Heather and Erin Douglass of Peterborough; his mother, Joan Douglass of Bennington; two brothers, Christopher Douglass of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mark Douglass of Hoosick, N.Y.; a sister, Laurie Bates of Cambridge, N.Y.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours took place on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord St., Peterborough. A Mass of Christian burial will be held today, November 21, 2005, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gerald Belanger, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, High Street, Peterborough.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

Jellison Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Peterborough, is assisting the family with arrangements.
