Timothy J. Walsh 1945 - 2011 POWNAL, VT Timothy J. Walsh, 66, a resident of Barber Pond Road in Pownal, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 22, 2011, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. Timothy was born in Westfield, Mass. on Sept. 9, 1945, son of Phillip B. and Susan C. (Cleland) Walsh. Timothy received his education in Williamstown (Mass.) schools, graduating from Mount Greylock High School. Timothy worked in the retail sales profession for many years. He loved driving and working on his street rods. Timothy enjoyed his home, especially being outdoors, and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the BPOE, Lodge 567 Bennington, VT, the State Line Car Club and the Pownal Yacht Club. Timothy is survived by his wife, the former Karen Fiske of Pownal, whom he married in Pownal in Sept. of 2005; his son, Phillip B. Walsh and his wife, Laura, of Colchester; his daughters, Dana Walsh of Bennington and Megan Cummings and her husband, Kelly, of Owings Mills, Md.; his grandchildren, Timothy and Alleson Gulley, Melissa Theberge and Alexander Cummings; two great-grandchildren, Zaine and Amelia Gulley, and nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Walsh Kelley, who passed away in 2010. MEMORIAL NOTICE: A celebration of the Life of Timothy J. Walsh will be held Friday Dec. 30, 2011, at the Willow Road Firehouse from 4-7 pm. Interment will be private.
