BENNINGTON -- Tracy Phillips Lake, 31, a resident of Elm St., Bennington, died unexpectedly Friday, May 7, 2004, at her residence.

She was born in Bennington March 3, 1973. She was the daughter of the late Paul Young, and Lillian Phillips, who survives.

She received her education in Bennington and was a 1990 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. From 1991 to 1994 Tracy studied human psychology at the Community College of Vermont.

She married Myron R. Lake Jr. Oct. 2, 1999 in Bennington. They were married by Justice of the Peace Albert Krawczyk.

Tracy had been employed by both PATH and BROC.

She enjoyed puzzles, pictures and was a certified baby sitter.

Survivors include her husband, Myron R. Lake Jr.; a son, Myron R. Lake III; her mother, Lillian Phillips of Bennington; her father-in-law, Myron R. Lake Sr. of Shaftsbury; her mother-in-law, Alice Farrell of Bennington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Monday, May 10, 2004 at 1 p.m.

There will be no calling hours.

If friends desire, contributions in memory of Tracy may be made to the Vermont chapter of the American Heart Fund through the office of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201.
