Tyrone Gaudette, Sr.

1943 - 2014 MANCHESTER CENTER Tyrone (Tom) P. Gaudette, Sr., 71, passed away Sept. 30, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. surrounded by his family. Tom was born in North Pownal, Vt. on Sept. 16, 1943, the son of the late William Harry and Mary (Baker) Gaudette and attended local schools. In his earlier years, Tom worked as a truck driver for North American Van Lines for many years and then for R.K. Miles as a custodian and security person for over thirty years. Tom was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Manchester and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., enjoyed listening to Country-Western music and watching sports on television. Tom is survived by his wife, the former Wanda Cole of Manchester Center, whom he married Nov. 22, 1992, in Bennington; daughters, Wanda King and her husband, Wayne, of Bennington, and Kimberly Gaudette of Sunderland; his brother, Donald Gaudette and his wife, Gail, of Dorset; sisters, Henrietta Proulx and her husband, Bryan, of Bennington, and May Anne Hewes and her husband, Herbert, of Manchester; sister-in-law, Bernice Gaudette of Arlington; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Tyrone P. Gaudette, Jr.; and brothers, William (Skip), and Anthony (Tony) Gaudette. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon Oct. 7, at 1 p.m. at BREWSTER SHEA FUNERAL SERVICE 34 Park Place Manchester Center, Vt. Interment will follow in the family lot in Factory Point Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday evening Oct. 6, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Brewster & Shea Funeral Service 34 Park Place Manchester Center, Vt. when the family will be in attendance.
