Obituary Condolences

DAVIE, Fla. -- Wayne Morse, 52, of Davie, formerly of Bethel, Vt., died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at his home.

He was born Jan. 14, 1953, in Albany, N.Y.; the son of Wayne Morse Sr., and Betty Saunders Morse. He was raised in Bethel, Vt., and had lived in Connecticut and Oregon, moving to Davie 12 years ago. Wayne had served in the U.S. Army. He had been previously married to Elaine Thompson.

Wayne was a welder, auto mechanic, and had worked in construction. He enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, and was an avid racing fan.

Survivors include his companion, Katherine Lupi of Davie, Fla.; daughter, Carrie Thompson of Bethel; brother, Shawn Morse of Bethel; sisters, Sandra Carlson of Orrick, Mo., and Deborah Beebe of Wingdale, N.Y.; an aunt, Mary Pratt of North Bennington, Vt.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his infant son, Daniel Christian Morse.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Fairview Cemetery in Bethel. The Rev. Ronald E. Rilling, officiating.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph, Vt. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Arrangements are by the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
