1924-2013 HOOSICK, NY William Andrew Telford, Jr., 89, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls. He was born October 11, 1924 in Hoosick, NY, the son of William Telford, Sr. and Amy Cloke Telford. He attended school in North Hoosick and Hoosick Falls. His entire life was lived on the Telford Farm, a dairy farm on Telford Road in North Hoosick. After his father died in 1962, he and his mother continued dairy farming there until 1992. Bill raised beef cattle for a few years after that. He loved his land and his machinery. Survivors include three nieces, Carol Leith and husband Douglas of Wynantskill, NY, Donna Bauman and husband Charles of Schertz, TX and Laurie George Hopper of West Cambridge, NY; grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. He will also be greatly missed by longtime friends Bob Morrison and Lyle and Gretchen Livingston. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Telford George. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for friends and relatives will be on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from noon to 1 PM at Ackley & Ross Funeral Home, 73 West Main Street, Cambridge, NY. Pastor Dale Hall will conduct a funeral service at the funeral home beginning at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge. After burial, there will be a reception at the home of Laurie George Hopper in West Cambridge. The family suggests memorial donations be made to either North Hoosick Fire Department, P. O.
