Elizabeth H. Baldwin 1929-2011 ARLINGTON Elizabeth H. "Liz" Baldwin 81, widow of Francis Baldwin and a resident of Mears Mobile Home Park died peacefully Monday February 14, 2011 at Crescent Manor Care Centers in Bennington where she had resided for the past three weeks. Mrs. Baldwin was born at home in Arlington on February 19, 1929, she was the daughter of Edward and Amy Linihan Derosia, she grew up in Arlington and was a graduate of Arlington High School, Class of 1947. She was married to Francis in Salem, N.Y., on August 15, 1948, he predeceased her on April 19, 2007. Throughout her life she had worked in the Arlington area at Mack Molding, Arlington Variety, Griffin Furniture, Skyline Antiques and Kings Bakery. She was an accomplished bowler and had won several trophies in local and regional tournaments throughout the Northeast. Following her husband's retirement, they became avid campers, venturing out every weekend, in addition they enjoyed watching golf on television, her favorite golfer being Tiger Woods she collected his memorabilia. Mrs. Baldwin was a longtime admirer of John F. Kennedy, she enjoyed going to tag sales and working in her flower beds, she was especially fond and proud of her roses which grew in abundance. She leaves her son Edward Baldwin of Arlington, daughters Pamela Matson and husband William of Arlington and Cheryl Bushee and husband Lee of Manchester, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren whom she enjoyed spending time with and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter Deborah Atkins in August 2010, brothers Morris, William, Edward and Robert Derosia, sisters Amy Delucca, Edna Hall and Mary Corey. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Friday February 25 at 11 a.m. at the Arlington Chapel of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the spring in Evergreen Cemetery.
