Found memories of Joe Parks. Thank you for your military service. He was a valuable voice in the Bennington Barbershop Chorus in the early 1980's. Thanks to Joe, many of our local 40 year olds had an opportunity to learn and enjoy downhill and nordic skiing at Prospect Mountain. Under his ownership, he cooperated with the Prospect Ski Club and was a friend and mentor to many. Rest in peace Joe.

Sharing in your sorrow during this time of deep loss. Please know that your family is in the thoughts and prayers of many others who share a similar grief. And may the hope found in the words of the scripture at John 6:40 bring you a measure of comfort in the days ahead.

Thank you Mr. Parks for your research into Pownal's history that is enjoyed by so many that live in town and who visit Pownal to find their "roots". It was a wonderful time we all had at the Pownal library 50 years later celebrating the publication of the Parks' updated version on our shelves. In appreciation for your life,
Linda Hall, Director
