Memories and Condolences
for Jean Paddock

Not sure what to say?

With sadness, but also with fond and loving memories, I offer my sympathies to her supportive family on the passing of Jean. Although in recent years, only holiday cards were exchanged, Jean and her husband John were so influential in my development as a scientific researcher when we worked together in Dr. Lowenstein's lab both at B.U. and then following them to Thomas Jefferson University. I will miss her kindness and smiles. God bless.

With deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. I worked with Ms. Jean at NIH. After she retired, we kept in touch mostly by e-mail and of course she always mailed a Christmas card. I will truly miss Ms. Jean. May her soul rest in peace!

I am so sorry to hear about Jean's death. She was a very special person to me. We met at NIH and she was not only extremely professional and taught me bundles, but was also a wonderful caring person. She was a true Christian who is now basting in God's warmth and love, free of pain and disease. I thank God for the privilege of having Jean as my friend. Rest in peace Jean and I love you. And may the Lord be with her family as they now adjust to life without Jean.

I was very sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at the Center for Scientific Review. She was respected by all for her knowledge, her fairness, and her strong interpersonal and professional skills. I was only there for 2 years, but I knew her as a shining light at that institution.

I was so sorry to hear that Jeannie had died. I knew her when we were young girls in Pittsfield. Many times her accurate arm saved me from snow ball throwing boys. She was a good friend and will be missed

My deepest sympathy to all. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jean's passing.
We were good friends and classmates for over 50 years.I have so many fond memories of the fun times we had through the years. Her classmates at the Elms are very proud of her brilliant Career.

I always enjoyed my visits with her in Gaithersburg and the LeBlanc's house and meeting her family.

She was in my daily prayers. With all of her health problems she put up a good fight to the end.
We kept in touch by phone and e-mail. I'll miss her very much.

She was lucky to have such a loving family that was so good to her. I know you'll take good care of "Jake".

You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Peggy

It is with great sadness that I read of Jean's passing. She has been on my daily prayer line ever since she went to live with her nephew. In a letter posted December 6th, she mailed a "prayer-for-healing" card to me and my husband. I never had the chance to write back.We spent a couple of days together and visited the Elms so that she could explain her vision for what the new Elms labs should contain. The memories and fun we had at the Elms will stay in my heart forever.Thank you to her caretakers. Jean was a beautiful soul. With much love, Sheila Nesbit Keator, class of '59.
