Theresa G. Bartlett Filiault
LITTLE RIVER, S.C. Theresa G. Bartlett Filiault, 86, of Lyndon Drive and formerly of North Adams, died Sunday March 2, 2014 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach. Born in Adams, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Ouillette LaMarre. She had resided in Stamford, Vt. in her youth and was educated at Notre Dame School in North Adams, and graduated from Colonna School of Cosmetology in Albany in 1959. Terry owned and operated Terry Bartlett's Beauty Salon in North Adams for 38 years and retired in 1997. She had also worked at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals for 20 years. In her earlier years she had worked for Sprague Electric in North Adams and Douglas Aircraft in California. She was the widow of Edward Filiault Sr. who died in 1999 and John B. Bartlett Sr. who died in 1988. She is survived by her children Kathryn Dandurand (Raymond) of North Adams, John B. Bartlett Jr. (Linda) of Virginia Beach, VA., Geraldine A. Brendese (Philip) of Waterford, N.Y., and Rodney Bartlett (Synthia) of Arkansas. She is predeceased by her siblings, Leo and George LaMarre, Isabelle Gerry and Lorraine Pedercini. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 from the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, at 74 Marshall St., North Adams and at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Interment will be in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, MA in the spring. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday prior to the funeral from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A special thank you to Terry's brother in law Fred Pedercini for his kind, compassionate and loving care.
