Gregory Dargi 1958 - 2015 Gregory Anthony Dargi died Sunday, June 21, 2015. He was born in Boston, MA on September 6, 1958. Greg served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was very active in sports being captain of the hockey team during his years at Monument Mountain High School, and played football and lacrosse. He also participated in the local Josh Billings. He was a very talented carpenter and enjoyed working with wood. Greg had a fun loving, outgoing personality and wherever he went he made people laugh. Anything he did was done with zest and he lived life to the fullest. He resided in Saco, Maine with his former wife and his son. Greg was predeceased by his father, Mario Dargi Capone. He is survived by his mother, Betty Dargi Capone of Lee and his eight brothers and sisters, Cathy Dargi of Pittsfield, Michael Dargi of Pittsfield, Anthony Dargi of CA, Jeffrey Dargi of CA, Gary Capone of FL, Lisa Forfa of Pittsfield, Marc Dargi of Westfield, and Jennifer Dargi of Pittsfield. He also leaves behind his former wife, Sandy Dargi and son, Alex Dargi of Scarborough, Maine. Greg will be greatly missed by all who knew him. It was Greg's desire to be cremated, so currently no calling hours are scheduled. A memorial will be posted at a later date.

Delano, Philip  
Philip "Pancho" Henry Delano 1930 - 2015 PITTSFIELD Philip "Pancho" Henry Delano, 84, of 59 Wilson Street, passed away peacefully Monday, June 22, 2015 after a short stay at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield. Mr. Delano was born in Pittsfield on November 11, 1930. The son of Louise and Philip Delano. He was a 1948 graduate of Pittsfield High School. For most of his professional career he briefly worked at General Electric Co. Served in the Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1953. Philip received the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. After being discharged from the service, he worked in Construction for 25 years. A member of Laborers Local #473. He was the owner of Apex Asbestos Co from 1987 to 1993. Phil was a member of GEAA Golf Course for 20 yrs. In his younger years he was Carom Champion for 4 consecutive years at he Boys Club where he enjoyed being every day. His remaining years he enjoyed reading and watching Golf Tournaments. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Stankiewicz, with who he resided. Phyllis was a loving, caring, passionate caregiver for 13 years. He leaves two brothers, Thomas and his longtime companion, Alba and Brad Delano and his wife, Joan of Pittsfield and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Philip and Louise Delano, brothers, Richard and William Delano and sister, Mary Vadala and his companion of many years, Rhetta Houghtaling.
