Allen R. Kuza
1965--2012 ADAMS Allen Richard Kuza, 47, of 217 Columbia St., Adams, died Saturday, December 22, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Pittsfield on August 9, 1965, a son of C. Richard Kuza and Gloria (LaBonte) Kuza Ruebesam. He attended Adams schools, including Hoosac Valley High School.
Mr. Kuza last worked at the former Hunter Outdoor Products Co. in North Adams, until ill health forced his retirement. Earlier, he had worked at General Electric Co. in Pittsfield.
He had been a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. He enjoyed working on his truck and motorcycles, fixing small engines, mechanical work, and loved animals. He had always cared more for his friends than for himself.
He is survived by his father, C. Richard Kuza, and his wife, Gosia, of Adams; his mother, Gloria Ruebesam, and her husband, Craig, of Savoy; a sister, Dena Kuza of Adams; a niece, Kelsey Cook of North Adams; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, Pastor of the Parish of Blessed John Paul.
Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
