Angelina Virginia "Angie" Angeli Giusti

1928-2014 Mrs. Angelina Virginia "Angie" Angeli Giusti, 85 of 655 Ashland St. North Adams, MA died Monday January 20, 2014 at Williamstown Commons, surrounded by her family. She was born in North Adams, MA on May 3, 1928, daughter of Joseph and Maria (Santorum) Angeli. She attended local schools and graduated from the Drury High School with the class of 1945. Angie was last employed as the administrative assistant in the Psychology Department at Williams College where she worked for over thirty years until her retirement. Before that, she worked at JJ Newberry's and for the Massachusetts Electric Co. She was an active communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of its Rosary Society. She was a volunteer at its annual bazaar and delivered meals for the church meals ministry. Angie was also a member of the Adoration at the church. Angie was a former president and treasurer of the North Adams Garden Club. She enjoyed travel and gardening and especially enjoyed her daily walks on Ashland Street. She was the widow of Dante Francis Giusti who died on June 24, 1983. They were married on November 3, 1951. Survivors include her sister in law, Nancy Andreatta and her husband, Robert of North Adams. She also leaves nieces and nephews including David Angeli, George Angeli, Claire Angeli, Jean Noel, Kathy Stewart, Rosemary Buzzell, and Patricia Randall; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by three brothers including Louis Angeli, George Angeli, and Mario Angeli. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Angelina Giusti will be Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10:15 AM from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 4-7 PM.
