Angelo Burro, Jr.

CLARKSBURG Angelo J. Burro, Jr., of Gates Ave., Clarksburg, son of Angelo J. and Edna (Champney) Burro, died at home on Oct. 20, 2012. He attended Clarksburg schools and graduated from Drury High School. He was honorably discharged from the Army after serving in Viet Nam. He worked for many years in construction and retired from the Mass Highways as a Bridge Foreman 1. Ange was a kind and generous soul who loved farming and caring for his Hereford cattle, beekeeping, gardening, hunting and fishing.

He is fondly remembered by his sister,,Paula Wells of Clarksburg, brother, Gary Burro of North Adams, and nieces, Allyse Wiencek and Angela Burro of North Adams. Angelo also leaves an aunt, Rachel Champney of Williamstown, and many cousins. Angelo was pre-deceased by a brother, Philip J. Burro.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will take place Friday at 10 a.m. at Clarksburg Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
