Anna G. Lardas

1922-2012 Anna G. Lardas, 89, of 166 Luce Road, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012, at the Williamstown Commons.

She was born in 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late George and Lillian Lardas. Anna was an accomplished artist and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and her paintings of the Arizona desert and Berkshire mountains captured her spirit and love of nature.

Anna is survived by her children: daughters Michele Alice and Kim Alice, of Williamstown; and son David Steiner and his wife, Ina, of Natick, Ma. Anna is also survived by two brothers, Nicholas Lardas and Jack Lardas, and nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Zarna.

Anna's family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring staff at the Williamstown Commons for all of their support.

At Anna's request there will be no public memorial service. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Berkshire Humane Society through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.
