Audrey H. Crawford

1926 - 2014 LEE Audrey H. Crawford, 87, of Woodland Rd. in Lee, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was born in Pittsfield on July 24, 1926, the daughter of Ernest and Madelon Connor Noll. She was educated in the Becket Schools and was a 1944 graduate of Framingham High School. After her marriage to Francis "Butsey" Crawford on March 7, 1945, she moved to Lee and was employed at the A&P Super Market and later at the former Edgecomb Nursing Home in Lenox, and then at the Peter J. Schweitzer Paper Co. in Lee, where she worked for 20 years. For the past 20 years, she and her husband, Butsey, organized and ran the Lee Locker Room Fishing Derby. She enjoyed flowers, her garden, and the wild life in her back yard. Besides her husband, she leaves her son, Robert, and his wife, Joanne, of Lee; one daughter, Joan A. Weeden, and her husband, Dan, of Lee; one brother, Stanley Noll and his wife, Betty, of Enfield, Conn.; a grandson, Peter Ostrander, and a great-grandson, Peter Ostrander, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Richard Ostrander. FUNERAL NOTICE: The Funeral for Audrey H. Crawford will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main Street, Lee. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Visiting Hours will be Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:30. Friends wishing may make memorial donations to Porchlight VNA/Home Care or Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
