1978 - 2014 ADAMS Colin Curtis LaCasse, 35, of 20 Linden St., Pittsfield, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at his home. He was born in North Adams on July 28, 1978, a son of Carmen LaCasse, Jr., and Lynn Ann Burke, both of Adams. He attended schools in North Adams, including Drury High School and graduated from the Culinary Arts Program at Berkshire Community College, Pittsfield. At the time of his death, Colin was employed at the Fire House Cafe, Adams, and the Apple Tree Inn, Lenox. He had also worked at CJ's Sports Pub in Adams for several years. Family and friends were very important to Colin and he had a great love for music. Besides his parents of Adams, he is survived by two brothers, Carmen LaCasse, III of Adams and Cory LaCasse of Norfolk, Va.; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Duteau of Wiliamstown;a niece, Zoey LaCasse of Clarksburg, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be Monday, July 28, at 9 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of the Word at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame des Sept. Douleurs Church, McKinley Square, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Tomasz Gorny. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family through the funeral home.
