1973-2012 ADAMS Mr. Dennis Edward Anderson, 39, of 8 Pinnacle Drive, Adams, died on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at his home.

He was born in North Adams on February 4, 1973, the son of Ronald and Wanda (Jaskolka) Anderson. He attended schools in Adams.

Mr. Anderson was a Veteran of the Bosnia Conflict, having served with the United States Army from 1993 until receiving his Honorable Discharge on May 29, 2001. During his time in the Army, Mr. Anderson completed training in Maryland, South Carolina and Germany and was an expert sharpshooter. In 1996 Mr. Anderson was awarded the NATO Medal for service with NATO on Operations in Relation to the former Yugoslavia.

Mr. Anderson last worked for Armored Solutions in Pittsfield. Earlier he had worked for the former Car Essentials, Pittsfield and Time Warner Cable, Pittsfield.

He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire, where he had served as an Alter Server and was a member of the junior choir.

Besides his parents of Cheshire, he is survived by; two daughters, Kaitlyn and Allyssa Anderson of Pittsfield; three aunts, Alice Jaskolka, June Leonesio and May Anderson; His former wife, Tracy Maloney of Pittsfield; His cousin, Msgr. Edward Hajduk, and many other cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 3, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire.

Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the family for an educational fund to be set up for Mr. Andersons daughters through the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, which is in charge of arrangements.
