Helen A. Cole
1910 - 2013 ADAMS Helen A. Cole, 103, formerly of 101 Orchard St., died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Plymouth.
Born in Adams on June 2, 1910, she was the daughter of York and Clara Wiesner Jaeschke and attended Cheshire Schools.
She was employed with the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for many years, from where she retired. Prior to that, she was employed with the former General Electric Co. in Pittsfield. Mrs. Cole also operated a tourist home in Cheshire for many years.
She attended the First Baptist Church in Cheshire.
Her husband, Solomon P. Cole whom she married April 30, 1929, died October of 1995.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Landon of Plymouth; a son Solomon P. Cole Jr., of Salem, N.H., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Service and burial in Cheshire Cemetery will be at a later date to be announced. Donations in her memory may be made to the Adams Council on Aging in care of the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA. 01220, which is in charge of arrangements.
