NORTH ADAMS Helen R. "Dubie" (Dubois) Horsman, 79, of Monument Beach, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Horsman, Sr.Born in North Adams, she was the daughter of Ernest and Almeda (Miller) Dubois. Raised in Williamstown, she moved to the Cape in the early 60's. She previously lived in Wellfleet and Falmouth before settling in Monument Beach.

Mrs. Horsman was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

A mother and homemaker, she also worked for the Laundry Center Laundromat on Trowbridge Road in Bourne for 10 years. Mrs. Horsman, lovingly known as Dubie, was a devoted Mom, an amazing Grandma and wonderful friend. A bowling enthusiast, she was a member of the "Ladies High Rollers" in Falmouth.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa M. Patrico and her husband, David, of Pocasset; her son, Robert F. Horsman, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Monument Beach; her brothers, Norman Estes of North Adams and Gerald Dubois of Pittsfield; her sister, Carol Poirier of Canton, Conn.; her grandchildren, Briana Patrico, Kayla Patrico and Violet Horsman; her cousin, Gloria Card of Williamstown, and many loved nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Her funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 W. Falmouth Hwy., (Rt. 28A), West Falmouth at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
