Leman B. Farrar

1937 - 2013 NORTH ADAMS Leman Boles Farrar, 76, of 10 Milton Drive, was called to Heaven on Monday, April 15, 2013, at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Tewksbury on Jan. 16, 1937, son of George and Glorian (Hall) Smith. He attended schools in Petersham.

Leman was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He was last employed by Berkshire Regional Transit Authority. Before that, he drove the bus for many years with Englander Coach Lines from Williamstown to Boston.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor F. (McGaughey) Farrar, whom he married Nov. 3, 1984.

He also leaves his daughter, Debra, of Webster; son, Steven of Bennington; daughter, Karen of Maine; son, William of Connecticut; daughter, Patti, and her husband, Paul of Maine; son, Roy and his wife, Josie of Georgia; son, Kevin of Maine; son, Matthew, and his wife, Lori of Maine; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a sister, Linda, and her husband, Dennis, of Petersham.

Leman was predeceased by his sister, Cora; by his two sons, Leman (Joe) and Leman B Farrar II, along with his parents, George and Glorian.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Leman B. Farrar will be Friday, April 19, 2013, from 3 to 6 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. Burial will be private.
