Mary Ella Blore
1920, 2014 Mary Ella Blore passed away on May 17, 2014. Mary was born in Delaware Township, N.J., on March 7, 1920. She was one of seven children born to James Paul Blore and his wife, Mary Ella Johnson Blore. She was their sixth child and the only girl. When she was a young baby, her parents moved to Voorhees Township. Mary attended Haddonfield High School but graduated from Camden High School. She later graduated from the National Bible Institute in New York City. Mary spent much of her life in helping to start and promote an inner-city mission, Christian Ministries, Inc., in Camden, N.J. She actively expressed her love for the spiritual and physical needs of the people of the community. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Janet Thorpe, of Florida; two nephews, Dr. James P. Blore of Pennsylvania and Mr. Alan Blore of Massachusetts, and many others whose lives she touched for eternity. "To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul, in You I trust, O my God." (Psalm 25:l-2) FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for Mary Ella Blore will be held Thursday, May 22, at 12 p.m., at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, N.J. There are no calling hours.
