Michael B. Gokey(1992-2013)

PITTSFIELD - Michael B. Gokey, born May 1, 1992, to Michael A. Gokey of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Lisa Forsythe of Plainfield. He was the beloved "adopted" son and brother of Rosie and Terry Bishop and family of Pittsfield. They gave him all their love. He also leaves his Grandpa Bill of Conway and his sister, Jen, of Ashfield.
Tuesday nights were family night. Mike would never miss one.
Mike graduated from Taconic High School in Pittsfield and attended community college in Ohio. He was a voracious reader for which he received an award for at Taconic High School.
Mike always had a big smile on his face. He was friendly and always had a good word to say to everyone he met.
He loved video games. He also loved spending time on Lake Onota boating and fishing. Mike gave all he had to his friends and even strangers who had less than he.
He touched many hearts in his too short life. Still waters run deep. He will be sorely missed by many.
