NORTH ADAMS -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Pierina (Moser) Albareda, 93, of 85 Eagle St., was concelebrated Saturday, Aug. 21, 10:30 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padua Church with the Rev. Albert Dagnoli, S.S.C.C., as the principal celebrant. He was assisted by the Rev. Daniel J. O’Hear, pastor.
Anthony Falco was the acolyte. The pall was unfolded by the pallbearers. Catherine Freedburg, granddaughter, was the minister of the word. The offertory was presented by Rose and Frank Gaspardi, daughter and son-in-law, and Nancy Spaniol, daughter.
Members of the St. Anthony Bazaar Committee were in attendance at the church.
Matthew Alcombright was the organist and Margaret Ciepiela was the soloist.
Burial was in Southview Cemetery. Robert Gaspardi, great-grandson, read an essay.
Pallbearers were Bruce Gaspardi and James Hooks, grandsons; Bruce Gaspardi Jr. and Robert Gaspardi, great-grandsons; and Jeff Larabee, John Gaspardi, and Enrico Gaspardi.
Mrs. Albareda died Aug 19. The Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, was in charge of arrangements.
