Raymond Morey Lee

1933-2012 Mr. Raymond Morey Lee, 79 of Natick, Mass., and formerly of Pittsfield and North Adams died Wednesday November 7, 2012 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

He was born in Pittsfield, on July 20, 1933 a son of the late Roy V. Lee and Anna I. (Brewer) Lee. He attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from Pittsfield High School.

He was a decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the United States Army.

Raymond was the former owner of a fruit stand on State Road in North Adams and was employed in the construction industry for many years. He was involved in several projects in the area including the Bear Swamp project.

Raymond was a devoted family man and hard worker and taking care of his family was very important to him. His favorite quote was "Don't worry about it". He was a member of the Dr. George L. Curran VFW Post #996 in North Adams.

Survivors include his former wife Ann (Costello) Lee of Daytona Beach, Fla., Three Daughters: Patricia Allison and Debbie Swenson of Daytona Beach, Fla.; Tammie Lee of Pittsfield, Four Grandchildren : Brandie Lee Langfield, who was his caregiver, of Natick, Mass.; Aleisha Radke; Augustino Allison; Santino Allison, Two Great Grandchildren- Olivia Lee Langfield and Paige RayAnne Langfield and several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Margaret Bower and a brother William Lee.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Raymond Lee will be held Tuesday November 13, 2012 at 1 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church Park St.Williamstown. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
