Roberta Mae Rudin

BECKET Roberta Mae DuBrow Rudin, beloved daughter of the late Faye and Artie DuBrow, passed away in the loving arms of her husband on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, following a valiant battle with cancer. Roberta was born and raised in Hartford, Conn., attending Weaver High School and Southern CT Teacher's College. In 1988, Roberta and Harold, her husband of 52 years, built their dream home in Becket, where they quickly became beloved members of the Jacob's Pillow Dance family, taking young dancers and faculty from around the world under their wing. Roberta was a member of the Board of Directors of Teferes Israel Synagogue, where she was the first woman to receive the honor of "Man of the Year," an accolade renamed "Woman of Valor" in her honor. She continued her work at Beth David Synagogue, serving on the Board of Directors and volunteering. Most recently, she was a valued member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom in Great Barrington.
