Shirley Ann Boucher

1937 - 2014 NORTH ADAMS Shirley Ann Chalifoux Boucher, 77, of 93 Bracewell Ave., North Adams, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in North Adams on Sep. 1, 1937, a daughter of the late Louis and Alice Wright Chalifoux. She graduated from Drury High School in North Adams. She was employed at Cornish Wire in Williamstown and was last employed at the Green Mountain Race Track as a waitress. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. She enjoyed fishing, Bingo, and NASCAR. Her husband, Bernard Gilbert Boucher, whom she married Jan. 14, 1956, died March 19, 2000. Survivors include two loving sons, David A. Boucher and his wife, Linda, of North Adams and Mark J. Boucher of North Adams, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren, Sheila Thoresen and David L. Boucher; a great-grandchild, Ethan Thoresen; a brother, Louis J. Chalifoux Jr. and his wife, Susan, of North Adams, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Sylvia Kaigle-Kateley. FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours for Shirley Boucher will take place Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will take place in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested in her name through the funeral home.
